What colours would you prefer?

I've decided that i will put red and whites in my magazine but also will have some purple in it, so it stands out and my results show that they are the colours that students want. 

What language would you prefer?

I have decided to use no formal language in my magazine because that is that the audience want however some people wanted both so i will have some formal language in my magazine. 

Would you prefer more than one image on the front cover?

My results show that many people only wanted one image on the front cover. I will only use one image on the front cover and make sure it stands out tot the audience. 

Would you want lots of different fonts on the front page or all the same font throughout?

My results show that many people wanted the same font throughout, however i will used some different fonts but not to many, but make sure the font i use stands out to the audience. 

What would you be willing to pay for the student magazine?

My results show that people would be willing to pay 50p for the magazine, but many people wanted it free, so i have decided to put it at a low price so everyone is happy with the price. 

What kind of images would you like?

The images i am going to use is images of students because that is what most people have decided they want in the magazine, i will make sure my images stand out to the audience.










What would you like in the magazine?

Music, whats on at college, shopping and TV is what people have decided they want in the magazine so i will put all of them in my magazine and make them as interesting as i can.









What kind of style would you like?

The results show that the audience want graphic like style so i will make my style like that and make sure it stands out to the audience.

Analysing two student magazines front cover and contents page

Impact – in bold and capital writing.

Black and white coloured. White text, which stands out.  It has formal fonts, what make the magazine more grown up. There isn’t a central image. There are images of people what are black and then there is one in white what stands out to the audience. It’s quite a plain front page, but it stands out to the audience because it doesn’t look much like a magazine.

The contents page there are dark colours but there is some yellow in the contents page.  The heading is big and quite bold; it stands out on the page. The text is small and makes the contents page seem more grown up. Also the text is written formally. The picture is of a man in the centre in black and white.   The magazine also coverts a lot of topics in the magazine, what can appeal to the target audience. Also where you can find stories in the magazine and the page numbers are spread over half the contents page.  What makes it stand out more and so the audience can see it clearly and will read on.

There is a central image on the front cover of a girl that looks like a student. She is wearing colorful clothes, what makes her stand out on the page. The whole of the front cover is colorful, what makes it stand out to the audience. It has white text what makes it clear against the colorful background.  There isn’t much writing on the front cover, the language isn’t that formal. It has side headings at the bottom of the page what makes you know more about what the magazine is going to be about. The date is under the master head and there is a puff under it.

The content is very colorful to, what makes it stand out to the audience. There’s a main image at the Centre of the page what makes the picture stand out. The writing is in white a well and stands out on the orange background.  The writing is quite formal on the contents page and it has quite a lot of writing. There is only some of the page that isn’t filled with a picture or writing.
